A Focus for the Research

We have highlighted a broad-ranging topic, and unfortunately one that is much too wide for this single chapter. And so, here, we examine just one of these issues – perhaps the most important of the research gaps identified in the literature review: the impact of time on the land use and transport interaction relationship. Figure 6.1 provides a ‘mind map’ of our research structure, showing its place in relation to earlier and potential future work.
